Abstract

Architecture arose from the need to meet the spatial, technical and aesthetic requirements that demand the different activities carried out by man. Therefore, the architect's job is to find comprehensive solutions in response to:
(i) The way of life:
- social conditions, political structure, religious beliefs, customs, etc.
(ii) functional need:
- more specifically the type of activities to be carried out
(iii) the aesthetic aspect:
- the plastic design and its psychological effects
(iv) the constructive problem:
- available materials and local technology
(v) climate and physical elements:
- the comfort of man from a thermal, visual and acoustic point of view.
