Acta Académica, founded in 1987, is the academic journal published by the Autonomous University of Central America and aims to give space to unpublished research carried out by members of the University and other interested parties.

It is an academic publication, biannually (may and november), in paper and digital format, free and open access, that publishes original works, never before edited or disseminated in other magazines, books, conferences, seminars, etc. An arbitration system is established for the selection of articles that are published in each issue by an external reviewer –double-blind system- following the usual criteria established for serial scientific publications.

Academic Record receives proposals written in spanish, english, portuguese or italian. Titles, abstracts and keywords are also published in the English language. The magazine is multidisciplinary and academic in nature, so the topics it covers cover different areas of knowledge.
