Abstract

Obesity is a serious health problem in our society. The management of this disorder is considered by many as one of the most difficult and frustrating in the practice of clinical medicine. Because of the undesirable effects of a group of drugs and the huge publicity that they created, a good resource for the treatments of obesity is being displaced. This is a small review of this topic, hoping, to serve as a little contribution for those who struggle day-by-day helping people with the heavy burden of losing weight.
