Abstract

There are many experiences and connotations that have developed around euthanasia from primitive times to the present day, because the phenomena of life and death have always generated profound reflections on the conscience of peoples. In this historical period you can point out various stages that derive from the early era, through the classical thought of antiquity, medieval, illuminating thought, and even even to humanist thought. Such ideas will be addressed briefly in this chapter.
