The company and the importance of its environment

Abstract
The first direct reference that we find within the Business Organization that raises the inherent existence of the environment, necessary to understand and study the activity carried out by the company, is contained in the so-called "Systems Theory". Until its appearance, the different approaches formulated for the study of the company were carried out from a limited conception, understanding it as a closed system. Systems Theory, with an integral conception of interdisciplinary content, breaks with these previous traditional approaches by introducing the concept of an open system, a concept that explicitly supposes a necessary interrelation between the studied system and its environment, in such a way that they occur between them a series of relationships of inter-influence and exchange of elements.
