Critical points of rational theology

Abstract

The article uses, as a critical starting point, the controversy recently raised in collective media - specifically on p. 15 of La Nación - regarding the demonstrative effectiveness of the teleological argument or argument of the design. The text will thematicize the limitations of physical theology, highlighting, from logical and gnoseological perspectives, the many deficiencies that the argument of the design - and in general physical theology , whatever its formulation, is manifested. The text also intends to consider the position of physical theology in the context of rational theology, and to assess as a whole the claims of objectivity of that.

The author does not aspire to originality. He openly acknowledges his debts to David Hume and Immanuel Kant. It seeks to rethink theological-philosophical themes from a veritive point of view, in such a way that it is possible to establish the philosophical truth of some of the statements of rational theology. It is also proposed to lay the foundations for a philosophy critical of religion.
