The protection of innovation in Costa Rican opinion

Abstract

This article contents the most excellent results of a perception study on the advantages and disadvantages to protect the intellectual property and the effects to register the property of the innovation in the organizations, according to the opinions of the Costa Ricans. Also, it compiles some viable policies to organize the economic management of the transference and protection of the intellectual property like economic and efficient technology as an answer to the challenges of the economy based on the knowledge, according to investigations made by the OEI. As conceptual and methodological direction were used the Manual of Oslo: Proposed for Guidelines Collecting and Interpreting Technological Innovation, proposed by the Organization for the Development and the Economic Cooperation.
