Abstract

University colleagues: Forty years ago the Autonomous University of Central America, UACA, was born. This has had great significance in the history of Costa Rica's private universities, because she led the way, in the midst of many struggles, and thus made it possible for other university sisters to gradually be created.
It is therefore intended to celebrate this XL Anniversary not only as an internal matter of the UACA -- the one that has indeed concluded intramural with great joy -- but that satisfaction would not be complete if all other universities were not invited priv country, all sisters in the same task, through some delegation of each, to celebrate and remember a birth of the greatest importance to each, because if the first had not opened the way, so difficult task, who knows which others would be they would have decided to take the first step.
